Cotton is a natural material that is breathable, soft and pleasant on the skin. Proper care of cotton knitwear ensures that the garment retains its shape and feels comfortable to wear for a long time. By following these care instructions, you can extend the life of your cotton sweater and keep it fresh and looking good.
Stain removal
Treat stains immediately with a mild detergent and cold water. Avoid harsh brushing movements, as they can damage the fibers.
Washing
We recommend hand washing or machine washing with a gentle program (30–40 °C). Use a mild detergent that does not contain bleach. Turn the sweater inside out before washing to reduce friction and color fading. Avoid overloading the washing machine, as a full drum can cause the knitwear to stretch and lose shape.
Dry
Avoid tumble drying, as the heat can shrink cotton and weaken its fibers.
Gently shape the sweater when damp and dry flat, for example on a towel, so it doesn't stretch. Hanging can stretch the garment.
Ironing and steaming
Iron the cotton sweater on low heat if it is wrinkled. Use a steamed or moistened cloth between the iron and the knit to protect the fibers.
Avoid direct heat, which can damage the texture of the knit.
